Akyikatchy Dzhamilia Dzhamanbaeva proposed to withdraw the bill on the amendments to the law on NPOs
Akyikatchy Institute (Ombudsman) of the Kyrgyz Republic analyzed the draft law on amendments to the Law on NPOs for compliance with the requirements of national legislation and international law in the field of ensuring the rights of NPOs.
According to its mandate, the Akyikatchy Institute of the Kyrgyz Republic advocates for ensuring human rights and freedoms, including freedom of association, freedom of speech, stipulated by the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic and norms of international law.
Thus, Akyikatchy Dzhamilia Dzhamanbaeva proposes to the initiators to withdraw the draft law on amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to Certain legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" (the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Non-Profit Organizations") and the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic in order to ensure international standards of human rights and freedoms and strict fulfillment of the requirements of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic also proposes that the initiators develop this draft in a new version with the involvement of experts.
